What I can fix in your driveway.

If I can reach it safely with jack stands, hand tools, and a scan tool, I can usually do it on-site. If I cannot do it right, I will not take your money to pretend.

Diagnostics

  • Check-engine light and drivability diagnosis
  • Battery, charging, and starting tests
  • Fluid leaks and overheating diagnosis
  • No-start and stalling diagnosis
  • Pre-purchase inspection before you buy a used vehicle

Maintenance

  • Oil and filter service where a safe drain is possible
  • Engine air, cabin, and accessible fuel filters
  • Spark plugs and ignition components I can reach
  • Differential, transfer case, and transmission fluid when the plugs are accessible
  • Coolant service, hoses, belt, and tensioner

Brakes and undercar

  • Brake pads and rotors
  • Brake fluid flush
  • Wheel bearings and hub assemblies
  • Shocks, struts, and some control-arm work on level ground
  • Sway bar links, bushings, and parking brake adjustment where the design allows

Electrical, cooling, and inspections

  • Battery replacement, including registration on newer vehicles when required
  • Starters, alternators, coils, and common sensors
  • Lighting and basic wiring repairs
  • Thermostats, radiator hoses, many water pumps, fans, and overflow tanks
  • Pre-purchase inspection with photos and a plain-language report
What I do not do on-site: wheel alignments, transmission rebuilds and most drop-the-trans jobs, engine removal and major internal work, bodywork and paint, airbag systems, A/C recover and recharge until the right certification and machine are in place, and any job that cannot be done safely on jack stands on level ground.

If your car needs a shop, I will say so and help you understand the repair so you are not guessing at the parts counter.

I work on domestic and import cars, light trucks, and SUVs — daily drivers plus older Jeeps, Hondas, Toyotas, and European SUVs. If I do not have the tooling, I will tell you before I drive over.
